As one of Scotland’s leading commercial joinery specialists, Ash Contracts, on behalf of Sharkey, has completed several phases of work at the Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews. The first phase was the replacement of the existing windows, which involved replacing all the internal window linings. We also installed bulkheads above all the beds and replaced the existing bedroom doors and corridor ceilings.
A separate phase included replacing the facade to the famous Road Hole restaurant in the middle of winter. The entire facade was removed, we relined the internal walls and bulkhead to match the existing bespoke finishing within the restaurant and bar.
We also played an integral part in the recent spa extension. We constructed the external SFS walls, internal partitions, ceilings and doors. The pool ceiling was created with a specialist Knauf acquapanel and this was also used to replace the steam room and spa ceilings.
